The grass loading on these is direct rather than have to be blown through a tube to the bin, which has a huge capacity of 300 litres and fills totally. And because the engine is placed above the central outlet the heat from the engine ensures the Grillo can work in wet or damp grass, without the problem of getting clogged up. Even cleaning is made easier as the blade is provided with a water pipe fitting for regular cleaning of the whole cut and collection apparatus.
Not all hydrostatic transmissions are the same. The Rolly has a “long life professional” engine with and auxiliary cooling circuit to ensure that it can work in severe conditions.
All the safety systems are in place i.e. a safety switch in the seat, and an automatic switch off in case the grass bag opens. The new “SS” system (Speedy Stop) stops the machine immediately and safely in any situation simply by releasing the running pedals.
Combine all this with very simple routine maintenance and you have the perfect machine for those who want something more than a regular hydrostatic mower.
