Dick Protheroe 1922 - 1966

Richard Elmer Protheroe, born 1922, died at the age of 43 while practicing for a motor race at Oulton Park. I have spent many years collecting information on my father and, until now, not known in what form it should be collated. With the wide use of the Internet and the forthcoming Grand Prix season with the new Jaguar F1 team it seemed the right medium and the right time. Any text in quotes is taken directly and unchanged from documents held.

Initially these pages may appear disjointed as there is so much to consider. Also there are copyright issues to be dealt with. Please bare with me as the site develops. I also have a day job to consider !! Thank you for looking.
